This U-shaped plan organizes all the principal living spaces around an interior courtyard allowing light into the center of the house year round. The soft and airy materials of the interior contrast the camouflage exterior palette of burnt cedar and dark khaki stucco, which helps hide the house away into the hillside and trees.
